North East Lincolnshire

Grimsby and Immingham are important ports. Grimsby's importance as a fishing port began to decline in the 1970's with a loss of many jobs and the area had to find ways of creating new jobs. The food and chemical industry are now important sectors in North East Lincolnshire.
