Sessions Hair, Health & Beauty Day Spa is located within the former Crown Court building, Sessions House, on New Walk in Beverley.

It is the largest privately owned day spa in the country and provides a range of beauty, hair and spa treatments ranging from a simple eyebrow wax or the cutting of a child’s fringe through to a full day of combined hair, beauty and spa treatments.

The business is owned by Jimi Parkinson and his wife Georgina. The Sessions Spa business is the most recent development during 18 years in the hair and beauty business. Jimi started out in 1988 with just one salon Imij Hair Studios, located on Princes Avenue in Hull. A second salon was opened at Hessle in 1993/94. In 1998 Jimi and Georgina closed the Princes Avenue salon and moved the business to North Bar Within in Beverley. In 2004 they bought, renovated and redeveloped the old Court House building to create Sessions Spa and the North Bar Within site was closed.

The business now employs around 45 people spread over the 2 sites with around 38 of these working at Beverley.
