North Lincolnshire Council’s Adult Education Service works across sites at Barton upon Humber, Brigg and Scunthorpe (Ashby Link and Brumby) to deliver education and training opportunities for anyone aged 16 plus. They provide life long learning opportunities for anyone who wants to join.

Classes range from creative writing to Spanish for beginners, but it is also possible to study formal qualifications such as teacher training, childcare and ICT/multimedia.

Tutors also deliver tuition/training via satellite centres and community venues so that people in more isolated areas can access life long learning.

The service employs around 100 people.
