Immage Studios Ltd in Immingham is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Grimsby Institute for Further & Higher Education (GIFHE). It is home to 2 broadcast channels and its own production team. It is the only facility of this kind within the Humber outside the BBC and ITV. Immage Studios Ltd have the technology to broadcast to Sky and the Virgin Media Network and also provide the largest studio facility in the area, with full production and editing capability and seating for a studio audience of 90 people.

The studio is home to PropellerTV on Sky 195. PropellerTV is a digital channel launched 3 years ago to promote and showcase new tv and film talent. It has worked with over 4000 film makers.

Immage Studios Ltd is also home to the region’s local TV station Channel 7, which is broadcast from Immage’s studios to over 140,000 homes in North East and North Lincolnshire. Channel 7 was launched over 10 years ago and is the longest running local/community TV channel in the country.

A core team run the studios which employ freelancers on a regular basis. The studios are also home to students from East Coast Media who participate in work experience as part of their course.
