Event Management Catering are the nominated caterer for KC Stadium in Hull and are responsible for all hospitality and catering for sporting events plus conference and event activities held at the stadium.
Business activities range from catering for meetings in the corporate boxes to sit down dinners for 400+ diners. The company also looks after the match day requirements of both teams plus supporting officials and the press.
The stadium provides a range of facilities for private and corporate events including 28 boxes which can be used for small meetings/workshops and 8 larger meeting rooms which are available for conference and business events throughout the year. Humber Business Week 2008 was held at the Stadium.
The hospitality and catering side of the stadium’s business has grown rapidly since it opened in late 2002. Christmas 2003 saw 12,000 people enjoying a Christmas dinner event and by Christmas 2007 this number had risen to 21,500.
40 to 50 match day events are held during the year and the Stadium has also hosted several large concerts with guests such as Elton John, REM, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams and Simply Red.
EMC has a core team of 40 people plus a pool of around 300 casual workers that it can call on and bring in for big event days.
