The Bericap Group is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of plastic closures for the metal, plastic and carton container industries. They manufacture closures for carbonated soft drinks, still mineral water, beer bottles, sauces, milk, chemical and agro-chemical products and motor oil. They are an international company with 18 factories in 17 countries across the world.

Bericap has one UK plant which is based on the Sutton Field industrial estate in Hull. Around 140 people are employed on the site and across a range of different manufacturing and engineering occupations including machine operators (plastics and metals), setters, fitters, engineers plus support staff including the supply chain department, quality, health and safety department, admin and reception.

The company has built a reputation for providing a total service that includes a standard range, product development of new and innovative closures, research and development, prototype testing and production line support for its customers.

The core business is now concentrated on plastic closures, with metal closures contributing a small proportion of the UK operation.

Bericap’s customers include Princes Soft Drinks, Coca Cola Enterprises, SmithKline, Beecham, Unilever, Robert Wiseman Dairies and Shell.
